One of the highlights of the trip was two Rising Star students were interviewed live on the air by WJR’s Frank Beckman Show who was broadcasting from the plant in honor of National Manufacturing Day. The visit ended with a panel discussion of 3 young Engineers (2 African American) that shared their backgrounds, hobbies and how they became interested in Engineering and working with robots.
